Music Video Director Jeremy Rall shot Marlon's "Anti-Hero" on Canon 5DmkII and 7D (PL mount) with a set of ZEISS Super Seeds (18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm), one Angenieux HR 25MM-250MM, a 50mm MACRO and a LensBaby kit. He also used a GoPro for the grill shot in the driving footage. The music video was shot on Technicolor's Cinestyle.
In a discussion i had with Jeremy he told me that "The idea was to create these scenes, images and moments from a "lost film" and create a pastiche of cinematic images that are iconic and universal. These series of images are from the same movie, but they are only fragments, we wanted to leave it to the viewer’s imagination to fill in the missing pieces. A mix of a 60’s French New wave film and a 70’s road movie."
Jeremy Rall has gone on to direct a multitude of notable and award winning music videos working with such artists as Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Chingy, Beenie Man, Talib Kweli, Kelly Rowland, Sean Paul and Floetry.
