U2 to record the new album in Santorini (?)
Black Rock Studios Residential Recordings

U2 have recently made several discussions to record their new album at Kostas Kalimeris Black Rock Studios Residential Recordings in Santorini. I talked with Kostas on the phone and he told me that the manager of the band reached him a few days ago and they discussed the possibility of a future collaboration in their next album in 2011. Kostas also told me that he had talks with Rammstein and at the time the studio is booked by Iron Maiden's Producer.

Black Rock is a combination luxury villa and world class recording studio located on the magnificent Greek island of Santorini. Build in a style that combines modern and traditional Cycladic architecture, Black Rock blends perfectly with the Aegean landscape. A heaven of inspiration and tranquility between sea and sun, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the Aegean sea, and the volcanic islands.

Black Rock Studios won the "Best New Studio" category
at the Audio Pro International Industry Excellence awards.
